After one day of use, my calcium and alk levels are 475 and 3.09. The day before it was 440, and 2.77. pH remained stable at 8.3 comparing before and after the reactor. I was always under the impression that kalk could only maintain cal and alk, and not raise them. This is the first time I've used kalk. Tank is ~ 60g total water and evaporates 1.5g / day. Is it okay for the cal to remain so high? I was under the impression if the cal was high, alk would go down.

Danny
