wavemaker

anyone have a good wavemaker design for a 55 gal reef? It will be hooked up to the return of a sump.

scwd or sea swirl. For a return you are limited i think. If you want to diy, a surge bucket or powerhead timer are about all i have seen. there is a post on here about a oscillating water movement system but it is very involved. buy a scwd in mo opinion, for 40 bucks and some pvc you will get a nice setup.
