Sand storm...please help!

Any ideas on how to remove the silt from my DSB? I filled it yesterday and it is thill cloudy.

Do not remove the silt! The finer grains will become heavier when the bacteria begins to grow on them. If you have friends with a DSB get a cup or two out of their tanks to help accelerate the bacteria growth. After a few months the sand become heavier or stickier or something and settles right away. Patience.
