No clue seems like a lot of work to sanitize something when ya can buy 50 gallon rubbermaids. :P

I use seri-clean when cleaning sumps, But I would not personally attemp to sanitize a drum that could have possibly contained hazardous chemicals. I'm sure others would agree that it is not worth the risks.

He is going to use a 55 gallon food grade barrel, so it wouldn't have any contact with hazardous chemicals.

He just wants to make sure all of the left over goodies are gone before he uses it
