Question MH/PC pendant for 29g

Hey Lighting gurus,
I just bought an AGA 29g (30x12x18 ) this past weekend (upgrade from my 12g). I'd like to keep SPS, clams, and some softies so I've been looking at the MH options. It seems from reading through the forum that a 175W MH/PC pendant would be a good choice and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on Manufacturer/model. I was considering the CSL prism pendant, but it's only 17.5" long and my tank is 30" long. It seems this would prevent a nice uniform distribution of light. Would this be a good or bad thing? Any other recommendations/opinions? Thanks much for any feedback.

Randy

If I were you, I'd add a 250w German 10k with VHO actinics in a retro hood using PFO products and IceCap products. Such as a pair of IC fans, and IC E-ballast for the MH, and PFO ballast for the VHO, and a VHO reflector.

Also, I wouldn't use a cocky phrase to bump my thread if I were lloking for replys.
Better luck next time, ace.

Actually, I had no idea my reply would bump it to the top again. Just thought it would keep getting buried deeper and deeper. Sorry guys.

I'd highly recommend a 150w Giesemann Nova II. I just put two 250w on my 58g. NICE!

Hello, I just put a Reef Optics I pendant over my 29 gallon with a 400w Radium bulb. It uses a Bluewave 400w ballast.
