Don't want to sound like a butthead, but if you can't spell anemone than you probably should not buy one. Sabae's prefer medium to strong current, Intense lighting, regualr feedings of krill, silversides, or clam. They are fairly hard to nurse back to health after they bleach, and if you ever see a yellow one don;t buy it, it has been artificialy colored. Several varities of clownfish will host in these, but they should be left for the expert aquarist.

I see its says Hobby experience 3 weeks and you became a member in April of this year.
Almost everyone recommends you wait at least 6-12 months before trying to add an anemone to a tank, this is especially true if your a beginner.
Get some experience and let the system mature for a while before you buy your Anemone.

Very true, one thing I noticed though is I never mispell fish stuff. I spend so much time researching, and researching before I buy that I end up having it burned in my brain. I have noticed it is not just me either, a lot of post with horrible spelling, yet all kinds of tricky and scientific words spelled right. Nickxx4360...was not picking on you, good luck I hope you can save that little guy.

I like to use "thingy"
EX:

"that's a great looking SPS, what kind is it?"
"OH, that's a... hard branching blue thingy"
or
"Oh that's an Acro thing-a-ma-bob"

You know the funny thing about this spelling thing ya'll are talking about is that alot of people that are have spelling problems such as myself are in the computer industry (System Admins and Systems Analyst). Maybe some link between analytical thinkers and bad spellers?

Even more confusion from an already loathsome term.

Isn't it spelled "sebae"?

Sebaes in nature are white. Why would the same sebae in aquaria be called bleached?

Sebaes in the wild are WHITE. Go do some diving sometime. They are also huge. When place in highly lit tanks, they turn tan because of all the light. They are in essence, putting on sunscreen. Thats with any coral with lighter pigmentation. I have had my sebae for several months and its still nice and white with red and purple tips depending on its mood.

I hope it stays that way.

LOL at this thread. You look pretty foolish mispelling "sebae".

And ratziel - learn how to spell "mispell".

Haha - now no one look at my posts to see if I missed anything
