I have looked at several pics. of reef tanks. It seems that a lot of people put their live rock near the back of the tank. It appears that the rock is touching the back glass.
I was wondering if it is O.K. to put the rock up against the glass in the back or not? Should the rock never touch the sides of a tank? |

it doesn't matter
in my tank the rock is touching all four sides it just means that it is going to be harder to clean |

I have a space between my rock and glass so I can clean the glass.

Thanks for the info. I was maninly wondering if it would put stress on the glass and have a good chance of breaking the glass.

Jim, ya know if you pile up enough LR against that back glass, you don't HAVE to clean it.

just be careful! If you move the rock real fast or it falls down into the glass, there's always the potential that it will crack.
