Question Halimeda going sexual?

Well my Halimeda was green yesterday and is now white with green spores all around it. Is it going sexual? What should I do take it out? Or what?

Matt

I may be wrong, but I don't think Halimeda 'goes sexual' as do some of the other macros. Mine will have some turn white and fall apart from time to time but it never is a problem aside from littering up the sand a bit.

Yeah, I leave mine in the sand to. I heard it helps buffer the water since it is a calcerous algae. But thats just what I heard. Don't know if its true.
