You know, I tried that, using photobucket, and it didn't work. I resized my picture to an "avatar" size according to photobucket, saying it would go down to 100 x 75 but it would still be at like 14,000 bites. How do I get that lower? I feel if I get it down to 8,000 you won't be able to see the picture.
 I have no problem getting an avatar on other forums, but after getting so frustrated trying to get one to fit the rules with RC I gave up.

what type of file are you using? (when you save, what are you saving it as?)

use microsoft office picture manager. It works wonders and is super simple to use to crop and resize images
