Question storage containers causing elevated tds after ro/di?

as in an earlier post that i had, i was running my ro/di unit that i just recently purchased from the filter guys. it's less than 2 months old. my NC24 is FULL of brown algae. i use a blue rubbermaid bin to store my water in. i tested the water in there and it reads 53...i also tested the ro/di water that i store in my plastic culligan container and it read 35. when i ran my unit, i tested it from the line and it read 0. no wonder i have all this crappy brown algae EVERYWHERE!!! what do i do? anyone else with this problem...?

There is probably a slime at the bottom of the container. They need air dried every so often.

oh, did you have the same problem with higher tds readings? how should i do this then? run my ro/di into a bucket and then heat it and mix it right before i use it? the reason i store it is because it can mix for a day and have enough time to heat up.

I didn't, but a club member did. Mixing it for a day is best. If you can when done, turn the container over where air can get under it and let it dry out. He was keeping water in the containers 24/7 and warned us when he figured it out. A small stand with eggcrate or slats should work great.
