I made one using
http://www.aquahub.com/store/diygaquarium.html

It works great, only warning I've heard is to watch incase they get grundged up and stuck.

I installed the Aquahub ATO also. It has been very reliable.

I finally just made one from myself and the most expensive part was the float valve ($11). I think the total price was $15 for the parts. If your good with your hands they are easy to make.

I used the one from autotopoff for over a year and had no problems whatsoever with it.

I've used one from ATO and had only one problem with it - but it was my own fault for not cleaning it as I should have.

Spectrapure has lots of different options available. You might get with AZOcean and see if they can get some of them on the group buy list. Their new ultra precise unit is pretty slick.
