Equipment Disease Tansmission

K, i am wondering if I am safe to do this..

Yesterday I tested the salinity in our display tank using a refractometer and an eye dropper to get some water out of the tank... The display tank has been empty for two days due to brook...

Today, I started mixing a new batch of water and I used the same eye dropper to test the salinity... What i am wondering is if the disease can be xfered like this...

Is this new water contaminated?? I believe the inside of the dropper was dry before i put it into the new batch of water, but I can't be 100% sure...

Am I safe to use the water I made? Or should I dump it out and make a new batch???

IMO the disease "could" be transmitted this way if there was any wat areas of the dropper.(i.e. inside the bulb) I would imagine that if it was dry, you should be in good shape.
