ppm vs. mg\dl
I work in a hospital laboratory and have access to some nice testing instruments, only problem is I would get results in mg/dl rather than ppm, anyone know how to convert these results?

[welcome]
mg/L and ppm are the same, for hobbyist purposes. ![]()

Yup. A deciliter refers to one tenth of a liter. A mL is one thousandth of a Liter.
1 mg/dL or "deciliter" is 1 mg per .1 Liters, or 100 mL. 1 mg/dL is equal to 10 mg/L |

If you are going to use a serum or urine phosphate test (typically in mg/dl), it may not test low enough.
![]() 0.1 ppm = 0.1 mg/L = 0.01 mg/dL
