t-5 fixture where to buy

When I get home this afternoon, I'm buying my dad a T-5 fixture for the 55-g I'll be setting up for him while he's on vacation this week. Where, online, is a decent 4-strip fixture for under $300? Just looking for places you've seen or have been happy with. Thanks.

Laine

Support the local economy and go to your LFS. Almost any LFS sells a 4 strip nova extreme for under 300 bucks

Thanks all for the ideas and the pms. There are a few stores around I've never been to, so this may be a good time to go for a drive and check out what's there.

If you are interested in a retrofit kit, I have 4 T5 URIs (Aquasun x 2 and Super Atinic x2) 48", four ice cap reflectors, end caps, stand offs, wiring, and 2 ice cap 430 ballasts. All have been in service for less than 3 weeks when I decided to purchase a metal halide system. Since they were not even close for my 180 gallon setup.

Everything is essentially new. The reflectors still have the protective plastic covering on them.

Laine,

Not sure if this would help, but I figure I ask.
