right way to frag acro and monti's

i have heard two different ways of fraging. One is to let it grow 3 inches then frag 1.5 inces and keep doing it and the other is let the mother colony grow and frag from that. What would be the best way to do it if i am going to be doing alot of fraging?
thanks jeff

In terms of overall health of the colony it will be best to let the SPS grow to a certain size before fragging it.... fragging too often is not really healthy......but if they are grown to a certain size fragging will not be an issue....

I do hope u get what i am trying to say dude eace:

I would let it grow out to a respectable colony before cutting it up.
