Looking good.

It does look like cyano in the first pic.

Mine are not sturdy either that's why I always lean the lense against the tank as a tripod lol.

Hey Sang,

Just stumbling upon your thread. Nice pics man. I think I recognize some of those sps. Are some of those sps in the first couple pictures from me? Like the large purple one in the top middle of the second picture?

Anyway, good to finally see some pics of your tank.

Yes, that is cyano. You will want to combat that, and get rid of it quickly. IME, it can, and will kill your sps if it covers it. I had a similar breakout in my 150 shortly before I sold it, that killed many of my prized sps.

It takes a lot of manual extraction (fish net works for the sand), patience, and investigation into figuring out what the root problem(s) are (i.e. low flow, high nutrients/overfeeding, bad ro/di filter/high phosphates, etc.) and reversing it.

Keep truckin' man!

Hey man, im the one who picked up the slimer, milli and green purple rim monti. For sure cyano and FLOW is not a problem, but i noticed your flow nozzles were directed towards the top of your rock work more.. maybe im wrong but try directing them towards the bad spots, and Turn off your lights for 2 days. Remember we talked about that? just try it see how it works if not you may need to turkey baste most of it out. But when you wipe it off the rock or glass it will spread like a wild fire.

i agree with the first pic showing cyano. and your purple cap looks very much like an idaho grape, at least it looks just like mine.

gisho, pm me for a frag of the purple one if you want.

they are great man, All polyps out on the slimer and milli. The Monti is doing great can't wait for him to start growing and the Pink paly's are nice. I have those other zoas/pallys in my frag tank under some T5's and they look good. Thanks again hope everything works out good.
