Hey everybody,
Based on what I've been reading it looks like I should be ok to add a Royal Gramma to my system. It'll still be a few weeks probably before I can get one, but want to ask you all if you see any red flags? System specs can be seen in my sig, other info and livestock:

Looks ok, but in what size tank? They can be a little agressive.

55g display, ~75g total system water volume.
I'm also a bit concerned about the shrimp...I seem to remember reading that they favor the taste of shrimp...but I figure that my cleaner is so large it probably won't be bothered.

You should be OK. Make sure that you have lots of swim throughs, and small holes in your live rock.

yep - I'd say a royal gramma should be fine, so long as you have plenty of cover.

I've kept a couple of Royal Grammas over the years and neither of them ever bothered my cleaner shrimp.
I agree with the others about lots of caves and nooks. They're definitely more comfortable if they've got a safe retreat. |

Yours looks like a nearly ideal tank for grammas, unless you want a large group or something.
Lovely fish, too bad none of mine made it. Matthew |

none of mine made it either, 0 for 3, not good odds, and I have had fish grow and thrive in my less than two years in the hobby... for whatever reason, they just don't make it for me

Mine has been with the two tiny cleaners for over a year and never bothered either. Again, they just like to have holes and caves to hide in.
