Do not know a lot, but I understand it to be very painful when someone/thing touches your skin if you have it. Some cases can be managed with medication, but to my knowledge there is no "cure".
I'm sure there is more on the subject, but that is what I have understood.

I have fibromyalgia. It is so very painful. It often travels in quadrants and I can tell you the pain is like your body is on fire. I pretty much live on Aleve. It doesn't make the pin go away but it does make it tolerable. Some days I just don't know how I am going to make it to work in the morning.
