TBRC - Atlanta MACNA XX trip - are you interested?
Are we interested in putting together a trip to MACNA XX in Atlanta?
We can look at the Bus Trip up, Hotel stay, Tickets for the show and a day at the Aquarium. The trip would not be cheap, but it would be a blast. Anyone interested, if so we can start working out quotes on what it would cost us. Sample Schedule: Leave Wednesday September 3rd - 7pm, Arrive LATE in Atlanta Thursday at the Aquarium Friday through Sunday at MACNA XX Leave Atlanta 5pm Sunday, get home LATE Sunday night. Hotel: $480 per room ($120 per night) Show: $120 per person (I think they were talking about lunches and a dinner) Aquarium: $30 per person Bus: $100 per person (total guess) Estimated cost: $750 If we have interest we will start working on group rates fro the Aquarium and I am waiting on a quote on a bus and a van for a smaller group.

Let me know if I can help.
The hotel is $119 per room, so if people share, it cuts down on expenses. Rooms are filling fast, though. The tickets are $109 right now (go up again the end of December) and include the banquet, and probably some other small snacks. We are working on discounted group tickets to the Georgia Aquarium. You will also have to park the bus, and I don't know what that would cost. Steve www.macnaxx.com |

chris22582, it will take you between 8-10 hrs on a bike. I have made the trip. It isn't an exciting trip though. Bring your rain gear.
I have also been to the GA Aquarium. I can't see spending the whole day there unless you get tickets to the behind the scenes and whatever else they offer. It will be crazy busy! |

Another option is going to the Chattanooga Aquarium. It is about 90-100 miles North of Atl. It is smaller but great for the size. Alot less crowded.
