Thumbs up Sho Tank still #1 in my book

I went to Matt's on Sunday before the bears game after reading Sullymans thread, and he wasn't exagerating at all. Matt has a ton of SPS colonies there and all are amazing in color. Plus he has HUGE CROCEA CLAMS! I mean huge! He is suppose to get fish in today so if you got some spending money i highly reccomend you head up there and take a look. I picked up a derasa, a really awesome colored crocea, a green humilis, and something that resembles an Eflo but neither Matt or I knew what it was for sure. Hopefully it is, as i have been looking for one.

Either way you gotta stop in and see Matt's selection of SPS plus he also has some really crazy colored Zoas in his SPS tank. Really awesome colors to choose from.

Nick

Just picked up a Scopas Tang from him and I put an Atlantic Blue Tang on hold until payday . I've always been very happy with every single purchase that I've made there. It is definately one of my favorite stores.

Sho Tank is great

I've visited all the LFS shops in the area but find myself going to Sho Tank more and more. There is a great selection of fish and corals and Matt always does a great job of answering questions and taking care of you.

Sho Tank also has the best prices on fish. You're not going to see any better prices anywhere else in the area. All the fish I've bought there are doing great.

Have you seen his new web store shotankaquariums.com? Matt has access to a huge inventory with the online store running, everything from lighting to skimmers to pumps. Best of all, shipping is free for orders over $250 or you can pick up your order at the store and get the same prices!

BTW, I agree with you on the livestock selection. I was there yesterday and Matt had well over 100 aquacultured SPS colonies available. All were healthy and very colorful. Some highlights that I saw were several deepwater species and 2 very nice Abrios that were a beautiful green on the lower half and bright pink on the upper. Do yourself a favor and check the shop out.

Sho-Tank is good and all, but it's no Ocean's Floor in my book

I'm just kidding. I like Sho-Tank too. It's a really nice place.

For those who havent been there its not easy to find if you dont know where it is. I grew up over there and still had a problem finding it.

I did the same thing I do whenever I go to a fellow reefers house: Look for the bright lights in the window!

Mine are in the basement and you can still see beaming light.

When were you at Shotank? I was there yesterday(monday) between 1:30 and 4p.m. I think I saw an eflo or 2 while I was there.
