MaxCap Spectrapure 90gpd vs. Extreme Typhoon III 150gpd

I would like to compare MaxCap Spectrapure 90gpd vs. Extreme Typhoon III 150gpd ro/di units to see what you guys think. I'm planning on getting one of these. Give me some input on these units if you have them and what are your experiences with them. PROs/CONs. Thanks guys

I'm not familiar with the Extreme Tyophoon, but I can tell you that the maxcap is one of the finest units available, and Spectrapure customer service is second to none. You might want to post this on the "reef discussion board" and see if "AZ DesertRat" replies. He has been in the water treatment business for years and is the board guru on RODI units.

I have a MaxCap 90gpd and like it. I use RODI for tank water and I make RO water to drink. Works great.

Thanks guys for the input. Welcome for more input from others. Please reply if you have any other suggestions if you think there are better units. Best bang for its buck that is.

We've got a MaxCap 90 RO/DI unit and it works great - got really high TDS (500+) and it knocks it down to zero by the time its thru the DI/SilcaBuster Cartridges...plus Spectrapure just came out with a 1-1 system (1gal pure / 1 gal waste) instead of the 1-4 systems. its pricey but may be worth it..especially in CA with the water restrictions and costs.
