salt group buy?

anything in the works? http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prom...ng/promo1.html doesn't seem all that bad of a deal.

comes out to about $24 per bucket plus freight on the 160 gal of IO.

btw, i was told that once you factor freight in there are stores locally that sell salt for less than this deal works out to. I keep forgetting i get killed by pricing salt up where i work...$70 for the 160 gal bucket at a store near me...

I believe Live Aquaria (Dr Foster and Smith) have done away with extra freights charges on things like salt and substrates....its just the standard shipping fee which is calculated by the price of the order. Would be cheaper for a group buy...10 buckets of IO would cost $18 to ship...but I dont think they sell oceanic...

that's what i was told.

i'm wondering if fintastic is having a turkey day sale, they also are pretty inexpensive on salt from what i've been told. i just can't buy it up near me anymore.
