iPod / iTunes Question?

So, the million dollar question from a new iPod owner.....

How can I copy music from a friend's iPod to my iTunes?

Is it even possible the way they have it set up? Im sure they dont want you to do it, but at the same time, you think it would be possible.

Any suggestions?

i think you would have to combine your itunes libraries rather than use the friend's ipod. i don't know how to do that though.

Its a PC.

Yeah, I could go from their computer's hard drive to mine pretty easily. Or burn them to a data disc. Or something with the original files.

I was just hoping to be able to do what I was talking about b/c it would be easier to borrow someone's eye pod than to take your computer to their house or something.

i hear you can attatch both ipods to an onion soaked in gatorade and both libraries will merge in the onion and return back to the ipods as a single volume.

It was more of a "warning" than a "tip". Don't start a thread here about stealing songs. Clear?

I think its a matter of opinion as to whether its stealing or not. I dont see the difference in listening to a friends songs at his house and putting them on your iPod. If I borrow a CD, is that stealing?

Anyway, I really dont want to get in some big debate over this. Im sure it will go nowhere fast.

I just wish you hadnt killed my thread so fast. Maybe someone else would have liked to have discussed the intended subject of this thread.
