Best Acrylic Tank Manufacturers

Hi everyone,

Recommendations and references are welcome. I'm looking for a reputable company with a combination of top notch quality acrylic tanks and customer service. What is Aquariums For You reputation since they are near me in Jersey?

Thanks,
Gary

Envision, but they're here on the left coast...

Of course, I've always thought that the *best* acrylic tank manufacturers use glass

No, seriously...I am considering buying a tank from Aquariums For You as well and would appreciate any feedback about their workmanship and customer service.

I had a 84x25x25 glass tank built by Aquariums For You. The tank was built very well. The only thing I didn't like about this company was that their quality control sucks. That was 2 1/2 years ago, it may have changed. Capt. Nemo pm'd you.

Envision Acrylics bar none! I have seen many of his tanks and James has done so much for so many people in the hobby. His quality and reputation is second to none. Whenit comes to Acrylic, I would seriously consider Envision..

I agree with the statements for Envision Acrylics. I had him build my tank and I love it.

Thanks guys. Does Envision only build large acrylic tanks? I'm only looking for something in the 30 - 40 gal. range. Thanks.

They'll make anything you want, including sumps, prop tanks, etc.

Check out Tenecor out of Arizona. They built my tank. and it is very nice and extremly well built. The stand and canopy are very nice and look like a piece of furniture.

I had a 55 tenecor for 8 years and never had any issues with it except some bowing on the front, which I assumed was common to all acrylic tanks.

My Envision tank doesn't bow at all. How much is your tank bowing?

If you're going acrylic, then James at Envision is hands down the best IMO.

not common unless the acrylic width was too small for the tank size. you can pay tenecor to go to the next thickness on any tank when the limit is pushed.

Envision... he built my last tank, and when the time comes I will have him build my next tank. Great service and a fantastic product.
