Does the unit have a flush valve, and if so is it in the open position? Thats a pretty common problem.

Has it not been used and the membrane was allowed to dry out? Has the flow restrictor on the waste line been removed? Has your water pressure changed? How long has it been since the prefilter and carbon were changed?
Try putting your finger over the waste line or kink it a little and see if water starts to come out of the good water line.
Or try removing the prefilter and run it without it for a few minutes to see if the filter is clogged. Try the same with the carbon but just for a short time so chlorine does not damage the membrane.
