I only have a few SpS frags, but they have been doing well so today I went and bought myself a nice sized colony. Sadly, on the way home a small branch broke off, and then while trying to find it a good home in my tank I broke off another small branch. I guess it fragged itself for me haha. Anyway, I found a place for it that I liked, but the piece of rock that it is mounted on is kind of oddly shaped and pretty hard to mount anywhere. Im very concerned about it getting knocked over, as I imagine it would break badly if this happened. I dont really see superglue as an option. Any other ways to secure it?

Theh only other way to safely secure it without the risk of it falling or being knocked over is Marine epoxy or seper glue gel. Otherwise you might have to search for a hole you can wedge it into.

Marine 2 part epoxy for aquarium use only they sell marine epoxy for fixing boat and stuff not reef safe. probably 10 different aquarium supply companys carry most LFS carry to 10 to $15.00 roughly. You can even get purple to match your corline algae. work great

Try some aquamend epoxy, a nice little ball. then use some superglue gel between the coral and the aquamend and a bit between the aquamend and the LR.
