BTA and Coral Banded Shrimp?
Was wondering if this was a workable situation? I've got a GBTA bonded with my small GBM clown. I want to add cleaner shrimp and a Coral banded. Wondering if there would be any problems?

coral banded shrimp look amazing! And if you find a good tempered one it may be worth owning one but otherwise you'll think he's way less pretty while he's chasing your livestock and other shrimp.
I had one for 2 months and he didn't mess with anything, not the peppermint shrimp, corals, cleaner shrimp, or fish. But everything would hide when he was awake so it made for a pretty boring tank. They are definitely possible and depending on the individual range from harmful to moderately reef-safe. There are plenty of ornamental shrimp that will look good, try a skunk cleaner or fire shrimp. in the long run you'll probably appreciate it, I know I liked my CBS until I had to tear down all of my rockwork to get him out. |

I'd avoid a CBS. I had one with my nems that kept yanking off tentacles and eating them. The female clown went absolutely BONKERS. Thought she was going to have a heart attack. Shrimp was such an a-hole it literally fought me to it's death when I tried to remove it. No more CBS in my tanks.
