covers for a tank with MH

I just upgraded to MH on my 75 gallon reef. I would like to keep a few fish that are potential jumpers, so I need some kind of cover. I don't want glass, because I figure that will increase temperatures and filter out some of the light. Does anybody have any suggestions? I was thinking about getting some kind of clear plastic netting and pulling it across a PVC frame, but my lights aren't very high above the tank, and I'm concerned the netting might not hold up to the heat very well.

Plastic eggcrate. You should be able to find it in the lighting section of Lowes or Home Depot.

Thanks. I had actually considered that, but thought it would create shadows. Was I wrong about that?
