Where to get Scripps localy

Hey guys i am in need of a serious water change. I tried search option but its disabled. i remember someone saying they can get Scripps water at some LFS for 35c a gallon. Can someone post there address and name and number or any combination of that. I need to go get about 50g today thanks guys.

I am in bellflower thanks but if its near close to Hollywoof ill just go there and take my family to Universal Studious.

Thanks in advance

I just read that AIM in Fullerton has it for 35 cents. Not sure if that's too far out of your way though.

That's the number that's listed in the ad that I am reading. Maybe they are making a trip down to SD to pick up more water...

Ocean in Motion is a distributor of Scripps water, but they deal with large quantities only; they are a distributor, not retailer (not too be confused with "Aquariums in Motion") but they might still be able to help. I've been told they will take special orders for 200 gallons or more if you are filling a large tank. If this is the case, they might be the people to call since they've got trucks that can pump the water directly into your tank. Incidentily, they provided water for Reef-A-Palooza last August and shall for MAX this April too. Andy is a great guy to deal with and will do whatever it takes to help you....as I said, its got to be a large order though. I don't know why more stores in this area don't carry scripps considering how popular it is.

edit:
just saw that you only need 50 gallons....well, perhaps this info will help someone else then. OR, time for you to upgrade to a bigger tank

try calling ron again at aquariums in motion. he is short handed right now because his help is out of town on a family emergency. you probably called the shop while ron was making a run for corals and fish. i stopped by last week and found ron out of the shop for a few hours with a note on the door saying that he was out on a run for livestock. he does sell scripps for .35 a gallon. call him before you head down to make sure he is there. a good time to go is usually after 12-1 in the afternoon. he's usually back from his runs by then. hope this helps...

Ocean in Motion is a provider for scripps water. Aquarium in Motion does get water from Ocean in Motion every week for both stores. So yes the water at Aquarium in Motion is Scripps water.

Well i am going to call a few more places hope fully i can find someone who sell scrips i really dont want Catalina water as we all know it comes from Long beach harbor. Other wise i am going to have to start mixing again

Is water from SCRIPPS still free if you fill up there? Do they have a spout that anyone can drive up to? I am moving down to San Diego and need to find out the details
