how much are bam bams worth?

I have some bam bams I got as a frag. they are rocking and are now covering a 6 x 6 area. I have made some frags, but my LFS wants to give me pretty much nothing in credit for them. i don't have a pic handy but they are bright neon orange. what should they be worth?
Thanks

It depends on where you look but I would say they range from 1 - 3 dollars a polyp... Most LFS will only give you half of what they want to sell for... You are better off trying to trade with them then just selling...

mine only gives credit of 1/3 retail. The problem I have is they have the attitude that a zoa is a zoa, and they want to give me the same for these as they would a bland brown looking one. pretty lame

Yeah my LFS is like that a zoa is a zoa, it wasnt until I brought in an AOG frag and had a customer try and by it before i could sell it to them before they would bargain... My problem is they have crappy lights and hate bringing stuff there but when i need things its the easiest...

I would prefer to sell or trade to locals... When I lived in south Florida it was no problem. Tons of reefers down there. Here in Arkansas not so many reefers Tons of people in FL too, the county I lived in if FL had a larger population than this entire state. Simple #s really, not enough population with a high enough disposable income to support a hobby like this. So here in Arkansas there are not so many reefers As a matter of fact we only have 2 LFS in the state that even have anything saltwater. One of those is about 3 hours from here the other is 20 minutes. When I was living in FL there were about 25 within an hours drive and about 7 or 8 less than 15 minutes from my house. So now I am pretty much stuck buying/selling online since the quality of the local LFS is just not what I am used to. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't move back, I love it here, much slower paced, easier living, nicer people, a dollar goes much further, all that stuff. Just some minor trade offs unfortunately my favorite hobby is one of them. I just thank God we now have this thing called the internet or I might not even be in this hobby anymore!

Mr_Jarhead...where in Arkansas...try the Razorback Reef Forum...more SW lovers than you think??? I'm moving to Lead Hill...

Mark up in most LFS is 4 to 5 times the wholesale price...I worked in one. Go to frag swaps...post on local boards...you can swap for some other frags you like...I have traded Tubs Blues, AOG, Cat's eye, etc for other frags I was interested in, including a sweet orange Yuma.
