Go for Fairy Wrasses. Though some could snack on inverts if hungry, most of them are reef-safe and beautiful.

I've had most of the fairy wrasses and the only thing I've had to worry is fighting and jumping out of tanks.

I don't know if I am just lucky or what, but I have a yellow (canary) wrasse. Have had him since June. He is a model citizen, doesn't bother any of his tankmates, doesn't pick on any of the inverts, corals, etc.

The ever famous Six Line wrasse is definitely reef safe... well it really depends on how you define "reef safe". If you value Pyram snails then it's not really "reef safe"

xtm, six line is aggressive though.

In addition, though I didn't witness the crime, I do believe he was responsible for munching on my peppermint shrimps.

that's why I recommend fairy wrasses instead since most are more friendly.

Hoang--are you serious? I have a 6-line and a Cleaner shrimp and they get along just fine.. but then again, my 6-line isn't "big" yet.

Joseph, just ask Yinger.

I think his six-line got pretty aggressive.

Before he jumped out of my sump, my six-line didn't bother any of my cleaner shrimps, yet one by one my peppermints would disappear.

Yinger, if you're asking for my opinion, I think a rhomboid would be perfect for your tank! And I'm sure Ali could give you a good deal. Hah hah.
