Flow question

Hey guys,
I want to increase flow and decrease power heads. I'm thinking of changing my return pump and plumbing a complete pvc circle around the top of my tank. It would have 5 - Tee's, 4 - 90's and 4 - 45's. The 5 tee's would split into 2 loc-lines each.
Is this over-kill for my tank?
If not, what would you recommend as far as a pump? I would go with an external this time and make a stand for my auto-topoff and put the pump under that(pump plumbed into my sump).

How are you going to make the flow random?

I like it Paul. my flow is not random. Not to say that mine is right but I am getting great growth rates and everything is healthy.

Steve has a good point thought If I was redoing mine I would add what he has on is return pump.

also are you going to have ball valves or some kind of way to control how much presure on each line?

The pump I'm thinking about is the Sequence ReeFlo Snapper 2400gph. Any ideas, thoughts?
