Flow question
Hey guys,
I want to increase flow and decrease power heads. I'm thinking of changing my return pump and plumbing a complete pvc circle around the top of my tank. It would have 5 - Tee's, 4 - 90's and 4 - 45's. The 5 tee's would split into 2 loc-lines each. Is this over-kill for my tank? If not, what would you recommend as far as a pump? I would go with an external this time and make a stand for my auto-topoff and put the pump under that(pump plumbed into my sump). |

How are you going to make the flow random?

I like it Paul. my flow is not random. Not to say that mine is right but I am getting great growth rates and everything is healthy.
Steve has a good point thought If I was redoing mine I would add what he has on is return pump. also are you going to have ball valves or some kind of way to control how much presure on each line?
