Recommendations for quiet HOT skimmer (75 gal)

I made the mistake of purchasing a D&D Typhoon a while back, and it was EXTREMELY loud. Any recommendations on a skimmer for my 75 gallon that are relatively quiet? I don't wish to spend $500 on a gold skimmer, but do realize you get what you pay for alot of times ($80 for the D&D) and had eyed skimmers at around $230 (Remora Pro).

I have used the Remora for 3 years and it was quiet, just finally started spitting to many microbubbles into the tank. I just purchased an Octopus 100 and it has been quiet so far for me (2 weeks). Some of the other guys I know though have had a problem with the motor vibrating and makin noise, but it does pull better skimmate than my Aqua C ever did. HTH

Is there a HOT skimmer recommendation thread I have missed that answered my questions in the past? If so I couldn't find it.
