My 3 Month old 55 gallon tank.

Hey reefers thanks to all your advice here on RC and with the help of my good friend Alan at Eye Candy, my cousin Lam, and my buddy Mike. My tank is running pretty good. Here is some picture i just took last night.

Great start.

Are those Allardi or Clarki's?

Thanks for the advice. Yeah i lost 2 anemone to my tunze already...Actually this one is one of the stronger ones that healed on its own. It got sucked up threw the pump the first day i got it. It was a sad day for me when it happened. But luckily he healed up on its own. I have to say Rose Anemone is one of the strongest ones i seen so far. I lost a seabae and a carpet already.

Great looking tank, especially for a new guy/girl! one thing i was curious is about is the clariki clowns or sebaes, are they ok with the other clown in there? I think i saw 3 maybe im wrong but i would think they would fight? Thats cool if they dont i think 55 gal is big enough for 2 pairs.

Nice tank man. I find it hard to believe that you are 3 months removed from rookie status. The tank has a very modest look too it. Props to you!

I will try to load of some pictures of the behind ths scene stuff shortly. For everyones information here what i'm running in the back.

I'm currently running a hang on sump/refugium with a rio600 pump to suck in the water with a over flow box. I'm using the algae grass to filter out the tank and then the water flows back into the tank. I'm also running a Coralife super skimmer to skimmer all the bad stuff out of the tank. I want to soon upgrade to a bigger sump and a over flow only just so i can keep the tank more clean looking.

As of the clowns yeah i have 2 different types in there right now. I have a pair of seabae clowns and 1 true perc. They chase each other around sometimes. but since they are still real small not much damage has been made. The pair of seabae clowns i just recently put in so they are the newbies. I had my true perc for a while. Hopefully the fighting won't get worst. but it does seem like the yellow tang is real good buddies with my true perc cuz it seems to be backing him up during fights....haha.. Yeah i'm one of those unlucky ones with a pretty agressive yellow tang. But anyhow hopefully things will work out. Thanks for all your feedbacks. I'll update more pictures soon.

What lighting are you using? Can't tell if they're PC's or T5's.

Nice work! Did you get your rocks pre-cured and ready to go? That's a lot of stuff for 3 months. Be careful... the faster you go, the faster you can get problems. So far so good!

Yeah i purchased cured rocks. Yeah i tried to take it slowly but just couldn't help to get things in there real fast. But i did make sure the water par were perfect before i put anything in there. My tank cycled pretty quickly.
