Arrow Best epoxy to use?

I am looking for some advice on what is the best way to glue/epoxy/?? any SPS that I may buy to my rock structure. I want to use something that has the ability to attach and harden under water this way I do not have to remove any rock....but simply attach the substance to the frag and then place it under water on the rock.

Any advise would be greatful

i have been using epoxy and have found when trying to use on a wet surface it is a little difficult to get things to stick just how you want them. i am going to try a gel superglue next i here that it is better and gives a cleaner look

I use IC - Gel and I love it.

http://www.bsiadhesives.com/Pages/hobby/ca.html

you don't have to mix anything and is quick.

I bought it from john. I haven't seen it in another store

You can put the Gel on the coral out of the water and then quickly place the coral on your LR in the tank but you have to do it fast so the glue doesn't set or you can take the rock out of the water and glue it.

I use Aquamend from HD

This is what I do:

Rock > Gel Super Glue > Aquamend > Gel Super Glue > Frag

I get the Aquamend ready then put some Gel Super Glue and attach it to the frag, hold for 60 secs.

Then I put Gel Super Glue on the other side of the Aquamend and atache it to the rock, again hold for 60 secs.

when I buy frags that aren't mounted onto plugs I glue them using the same gel glue shibumi uses from BSI Adhesives, the glue will harden underwater so all you have to do is apply it to the base of the frag and hold the frag in place for about five seconds or so.
I have seen a couple of stores carry said glue, check around, last time I purchased my superman monti I picked a couple tubes from the same store and they seemed well stocked with it.

IC-Gel works the best for me. Just picked up 3 more tubes from John in Oldsmar this weekend. Used it last night, great stuff.

I have always heard

"DO NOT USE 2 PART EPOXY TO PLACE FRAGS ON ROCK"

reason being is the reaction of the two part epoxy creates a chemical reaction and heat...I am guessing the heat is just another stress for the frags...

I have always gone to walmart and used waterweld, it is like 2 bucks for a tube... It is the 2part clay epoxy, works great underwater... Just smells bad, but never had a problem...
