Thats usually what I do also. Just spot feed the lps and other polyps sometimes. Every once in a while I put in some phyto or zooplankton

I agree. the single cell animals on the glass will feed a lot of corals. I also shoot some Rods Food and mysis shrimp towards my lps but the fish get most of it.

I feed 2x/week. I make a slurry of: Rod's Food, frozen blackworms/frozen mysis (soaked in vits overnight--to add meaty bulk), DTs Phyto, 2 caps of Marine Snow, 5 drops of each-Phytomax/Chromamax, 1/5 tsp oyster eggs & a shake of Coral Frenzy. I mix it all with a cup of tank water & spot feed to everything that eats. I leave the pumps off for about 1-2 hours & let everything small settle. I've got amazing growth on everything. Even my Goniopora is thriving!

We normally use Coral Frenzy every few days.

We have also been using the Reed Mariculture stuff (Phytofeast/Rotifeast), but that's a really expensive habit!

Coral Frenzy seems to work fine though and is definitely more economical IMHO.
