tunze wavebox users

I have a 6" 220 gallon with durso corner over flows, I was wondering if I can use a wavebox up high or if at all , I keep hearing you cant use them with corner overflows. and I was also thinking of using tunze streams on a multi controller, I was offered 2 6000's and a multicontroller for 575$ is this a good deal? thanks everyone

You can but for a 6 foot tank you need a wave box and the extension.

I use the wavebox on my 180 corner overflow sps tank which is the same as a 220 except a little shorter. IMO it would work fine

you would be fine with one wavebox. As for the overflow, just keep the water level high in the overflow and it will have little effect on your wave.

In my experience, this is not at all true.

Have you ever seen 4 f tank with wavebox and extension before . 6f tank with single wavebox is more than enough. You should get at least 1.5" wave if not more...

Talking about 4f tank with dual waveboxes here ya go....

My bad, I though they recommended 1 of each with a tank greater than 4ft.... How the heck do you get a 5" wave?!?! I'm struggling to get a 1" on my 120 (4x2x2)

The wider the tank the lower the wave. I have a 225 (6x2.5x2) and get a max wave of 3/4". This is still plenty to get all the polyps going. Nothing like REEFER714's, that is just sick. Funny thing is that I think he has toned down the flow that he had before.

You are correct Greg, i used to have 4x6200 and dual wavebox. But that is when i was BB. Now, i have to go with 3 or 4 6100 and dual wavebox to avoid sand storm
