Hitchiker star?
I found what looks like a star in my zoas that i just bought today. It came out for a few mins and climbed on my wall, but went back into the zoas after. It has the shape of like a choco chip but w/o the black dots and raised parts. It's not shaped like a brittle star, it's like the ones that you see in nemo (just not pink). Is this safe and will it grow big? Should i attempt at removing it?

Does it look like this?
Be sure to read what Richard has to say about this stars if they do look like it. In short, some are reportedly been observed eating Zoanthids and some have been praying on the so-called SPS corals. However, I have never personally seen Asterina doing any harm in my tank but it doesn't mean much... Just keep an eye on it and try to observe it;s behaviour, if you see it is doing harm to your zoanthids then remove it.

thnx that's exactly what it is. I found 1-2 w/ the live rock my zoas were attached to. (i saw one that had 5 legs, and then one w/ 3 later, so i dunno if it's same 1.)
