my reef....i really enjoy this hobby

now that i have bought my own home i was able to upgrade to a new tank, a 90gallon RR. i decided to take a trip down memory lane and went through old photos of when i set up a 46 bowfront over a year ago. they are kind of random full tank shots but it was fun to see the progression. i enjoyed seeing the growth in some of the coral i have had since the beginning...check out the candycane, i have never fragged it. it started as 3 polyps, and is at about 12 mouths now. the open brain i got last year for Christmas from my wife is twice as big... anyway i thought i would share the photos...comment if you like!

just some live rock...i learned real fast why you don't hide a power head in the rock work!

i got some coral and a few fish

i figured out how to use white correction on my camera!

my first SPS....oh purple firefish i will miss you.

what an idiot! i put the open brain on the rock work!

look at all the crap i have crowded in the sand!

FINALLY! some breathing room, the 90!!!!!

thanks to all who helped me along the way especially my local reef club (tristate)

great tank, I think it will look good once your corals start growing in.
