Lightbulb Speaker recommendation

Our club in Virginia Beach, VA is looking to bring a couple of speakers in April of 2008. One of the topics we would like to hear is Marine Fish Breeding.

Any recommendations on speakers would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You mean besides me???? (actually that real -- i speak at aqurium clubs all the time on marine fish aquaculture, and am presenting on advanced fish breeding techniques at MACNA this year)

There are a few folks that talk about marine fish breeding, its starting to become vogue now.
The grand daddies are of course Martin Moe, and Bill addison. There are a bunch of folks who breed clownfish and do a great job at it, and have a wealth of experience.
What local clubs tend to do is to find a local club member (or members) whos bred marine fish (primarily clowns) and have them speak.

Lastly, if you contact me of the board I can provide you w/ names of folks who work at fish hatcheries and are now dabbling in marine ornamentals.

Aside from Frank (he's an excellent speaker, BTW), you might want to try and get Todd Gardner from Atlantis Marine World. He's an accomplished breeder and also a good speaker.

Nothing but love for old friends...

No Frank, I can't even make it to the corner store without having to be back by 4pm to feed the fish, training a LFS employee to get me some free days.
