Which all-in-one for quality and quiet?

Okay, I have been reading as much as I can, and searched a bit here and there, but I am having trouble choosing a tank for a mainly softies reef. This will be my first nano, and previous experience includes 70G and 140G reefs. My main concerns with these setups are overall quality, but noise output is also fairly important. I want these to be as quiet as possible due to setup location. Particularly I am looking at:

RSM-34 setup:
RSM-34 with stock lighting and skimmer
Stand
1 additional koralia #2
JBJ Mini-Arctica if necessary

Aquapod 24:
Nanocustoms Aquapod 24 with AP3.36 (108W) lighting
stand
SilenX fan upgrade
iCA 2.0 NanoChiller Installed + Auxilary Pump
Nanocustoms 2.1 IN HOOD refugium lighting
Sapphire Nanoskimmer

Biocube 29:
Nanocustoms Biocube 29 with BC3.36 (108W) lighting
stand
SilenX fan upgrade
Sapphire Nanoskimmer
JBJ Mini-Arctica chiller if necessary

Nanocube 24:
Nanocustoms Nanocube 24 with NC 3.36(108W) lighing
stand
Moonlight fix
SilenX Fan upgrade
iCA 2.0 NanoChiller Installed + Auxilary Pump
Nanocustoms 2.1 IN HOOD refugium lighting
Sapphire Nanoskimmer

Any thoughts on these?

I had a 24G nanocube, first with stock lighting then with the 108W nanotuners hood with improved airflow fans.

The stock hood was quiet and I think would be more than fine for softies.

I kept SPS under the 108W hood but the fans were quite loud, I have no clue how quiet the silenX fans are but the regular $8.95 fans were loud but did a heck of a job keeping the temps in check without the need of a chiller. My tank never got above 81 during the summer even with the AC off during the day when I was at work.

I would personally skip the chiller, by the time you get it and cycle it it will be cooler out an I doubt you will need one but that is just my opinion.

The Nanocustoms 24G Nanocube, gets my vote. They do such wonderful work with the Nanocubes. I think of the modded "all in ones" the nanocustoms JBJ nanocubes are the most refined.

Mark

p.s. You wont need the ICA if you change out the stock pump. The moded nanocube will run room temp +4 degrees w/o the ICA. I had an ICA and it did work as advertised but was more of a PAIN in the a$$ than a help. Took it out,was not needed anyway. Advise you not to get one, can always add it later if you need it.

For looks, the RSM is really nice.

Agreed on the CAD and the Finnex...I got the Finnex as I like the back layout better, but they're pretty similar.

I have the JBJ 24 Nano and it is near silent the only noise you can hear is the Sapphire Skimmer which should have the same noise level on any tank you use!.

I have never kept any of the previously mentioned but i just set up a ten gallon with an aquaclear 70 hob refugium and it is so quiet. Its in my dorm room and I can't hear it. My laptop is louder.

I upgraded the lights to my 24 aquapod to the 150 MH sunpod and the thing is as silent as a mose. Probably 100 times quieter than the stock lighting.

These are all sweet systems, & I agree that a fully decked-out Finnex 30M deserves a serious look. Our research actually took parallel paths. My own conclusion was that, dollar for dollar, a ZeroEdge small rectangle (22g w/sump, wood cabinet, Euro-Reef RS80 skimmer, Eheim 1262 pump, lighting tree) wasn't that much more expensive (assuming you already have good lighting), & had just enough cache to keep it interesting. Just my .02.

Well, I went with the RSM. Mainly because I like the looks and it seems rather quiet for the newest versions... Thanks for everyones input.

I would go with the nanocustoms biocube or the nanocustums 28g nanocube with MH:
