im trying to make a make a carbon/ phosban reactor will this work the left side is not glued to getter for changing media nad cleaning

I would just put a 1'' union at the end of the left side ( where you are putting the media ) This way the pipe will be split and you can un-screw the union to access the media area to clean/remove/or add new media.

Let me know how it turns out. You may even want to go with a larger media body depending on the tank size your going to use it on.
