BLV 10000K or 14000K 250W DE

Is there any advantage to use the 250W DE BLV 14000K bulb over the 10000K bulb for SPS tank?

Is the 14000K giving better results?

I also have T5 for suppliment so can add blue, actinic etc as needed

The 14k bulb will give an overall bluer appearence and may eliminate the need for actinics but, 10k should be fine for coral growth. Maybe check what the apearence look like with one then the other before making your choice.

In the end i went for Ushio 250W DE, to good a price to not give them a try.

Look pretty white to the eye, but have added 3 T5 Blue+ and 1 T5 actinic to make the look better.

Was using 14000K Phoenix bulbs which burned pretty white, but some corals, reds etc just could not hold their colours
