?? Help with coral id??

I took some pics of my tank and thought I would post some pics of my corals. I'm one of those folks who purchse corals because I like the way they look, not because of what they are, but...I would like to know what I have in my tank. There are a few corals which I do not know what they are and any help identifying them would be appreciated. Now, there are corals which I think I know what they are and if I am mistaken, please help me out and let me know.

Here we go....

Coral #1 = Birdsnest

Coral #2 = Chips

Coral #3 = Monti Cap

Coral #4 = Purple digi

Coral #5 = Purple digi #2

Coral #6 = Purple digi #3

Yeah, I got them because I liked the way they look; now I just need to figure out what they are.

Short of killing a portion of the skeleton and having it analyzed by a coral biologist, you'll never truly get them labeled beyond Acropora or Montipora, etc.

#9 reminds of what people use to call Larry Jackson's Purple Monster or Purple-tipped Acro. Not saying that's what it is, but...

Rick, did you get #9 from DKKH? I have a colony that looks very, very similar to yours and he is who I got it from.

8 and 10 look like chips, 9 looks like some kind of tri color acro. Pretty sure 12 is a acro, don't remember the exact name.

I responded on BNARC, but I agree with Brad, I think 8/10 are the chips acro, so looks like you have a few of those . Two of which I know came from me. Where did you get the other one?

4/6 are a German Blue Polyp Digi, not purple digi. You can see the diff by looking at the skel color. The blue doesnt have a purple skel while the purple does.

The purple acro looks like a A.Valida to me. Could be a Larry Jackson...but is growing alot diff than an identified Larry Jackson that BradL has so its likely not a LJ. The rest of those are too small to be able to get a good idea. Identifiying acros is hard to do even when they are big, let alone frags .

I believe it was a frag I got from David's tank before we moved it.
