Mixing BTA and S. gigantia?

I have a BTA that is in my tank about a month. After some initial wildness, it seems to be nicely settled. I would like to add a carpet anem (S.gigantia). The tank is 90 gallons with a DSB and plenty of room for a carpet. Before I do something foolish, thought I should ask about keeping both in the same tank.

It is not a good idea . Somehow anemones can detect when another is present and can have a chemical warfare without touching each other , hich will result at least one if not both dieing .

Thanks. Where do you get your information from? Experience, a book, posts?

Thanks again.

Experience , Books , and from other Reefers . As a matter of fact , a LFS just got a new employee and put two nems in a 50 gal tank and seen that and warned him before the owner seen it . Needless to say a week later both died . l
