Finally! Got my hands on a Red Stag from LiveAquaria
Been waiting for a long time for LA to post another red stag to the Diver's Den. I have high hopes for it. Does anyone have one that has grown up a bit?

Funny you should say that. I'm actually red-green deficient, like a large number of males.

just keep in mind that these corals are actually a low light coral, if given too much light it will turn green.

I thought these red abrotanoides need very strong intense light to keep its colouration??

If I was red/green colorblind, I don't think I'd buy a high end red stag, I'd just get a green slimer and pretend it's red

mine was at the bottom of my tank under 250 XM 10k and it turned green, so i had to place it under a large stag to shade it a little and it changed back to red.

Interesting...no one mentioned this in the abro thread.... I think DaddyJax has a red one...maybe he'll chime in.

I have a millie (I think) that was turning pink and when I moved it up top it started turning green... interesting I've never heard of that before.
Should I move my milli back down low? |

I have a rose mille that turns bright green when I move it DOWN. Go figure! Maybe they just turn green whenever they feel like it!
