What are you tired of?

I do not like seeing people refer to their tanks as "Soft coral" reef tanks, when they have a ton of LPS corals in there as well! Why do people think fox coral, frogspawn, candycane coral, etc are soft corals!?! It really is annoying to me, ...

other? what are you tired of seeing in people's tanks?

I'm tired of people asking about reef safe Angelfish. After that I'm tired of the people that chime in on those threads with things like "my (insert name of Centropyge angel here) doesn't bother my corals".

Mainly I'm just tired of seeing the same basic questions asked over and over and over again. I just might go postal on the next person that asks about Purple Up

I thought his question was what are you tired of seeing in people's tanks?

I do not like seeing Coralline covered tanks.

In that case I'm tired of people not paying attention to the actual question being asked in a thread

P.S. Don't look at my tank thread

I guess the question is open ended, meaning what are you tired of seeing, and what are you tired of hearing, ... whatever takes up more bandwidth oct2274, :P

I'm tired of people asking for advice, not taking it, and then complaining and expecting help when something bad happens...

I'm tired of seeing Gem tangs in peoples tanks. It used to be so difficult to get one of these, and now it seems that everyone has them. Just this week I've visited 5 members that have them. I think I will give away the three I have to the LFS.

I'm tired of people saying that a clown hosts a coral/anemone when it is the coral, anemone or whatever the fish is living in that is the host. That annoys the living crap out of me. Whats even worse is when people try to tell me I'm wrong when they obviously have no clue what a host is.

i also hate kids who get clownfish and teh parents are stupid enough to get them one and put it in a fish bowl with freshwater

HELLO DID YOU WATCH THE MOVIE!!! it took place in the OCEAN, and people still get wild caught clowns despite the plot lol.

very scientific dubbin, I believe I read somewhere that a study done proved that it is actually the anemone/coral host that ACCEPTS the clown for its partner

I do agree though, that the clown is not the host, simply the hosted party, ...

Amazing and sad how ignorant people can be! I've noticed that the general public has very little understanding of biology/biochemistry. Even some highly educated ones.

I hate it when people spend thousands of dollars to set up a beautiful aquarium only to be to lazy to take the ugly cleaner magnets off the glass before they show the tank or take pic's of it. Who wants to see an ugly cleaning magnet stuck to the front of the tank? It only takes a second to remove it when your done.
