Fairy Wrasses with firefish?

So basically the other day I put in a fairy wrasse, and as of now all my firefish does is hide then come out to eat. Does anyone else have both a wrasse and a firefish in one tank? is this normal for the firefish? im thinking I might have to take out the Wrasse.

Other than fish not always following what others of their species typically will do could the difference be in tank being smaller than the ones the others show they have success with?
