Hagen Tank Please Help

Its those new kits that they sell, the Geosystems I have the 120H does anyone know what I am talking about???

Well even if you don't maybe you can help me. I just bought one and its a big set. It came in three boxes. One box was the tank and inside the tank there was a fluval 405 and a heater and some additives. The second box was a stand, third box was the canopy. In the 3rd box there was also a black plastic frame piece. I don't understand is this something that you put on the bottom of the tank???? this tank right now is made with all glass and no fram. So the bottom piece of glass is laying flat on the wood stand. Is this how it is supposed to be??? or am I supposed to add that frame piece underneath???? Do companies make tanks where the bottom glass lays flat to the stand??? cause I know the frames usually lift the bottom glass half an inch off the stand.

the one in this pic looks like there is no frame right???

plus if it was mandatory wouldn't they have it glued on and not keep it in a seperate box for you to add yourself??? someone help me I am scared to fill it with water lol
