Is this one of the big sales where they double the price, and then take 50% off?

I can personally attest to this. Was there on on a weekday and then went back for the item on the weekend. The price went up more than 100% but they had it at half off. It would've been cheaper if I bought it before the sale.

One should be happy for every purchase that he/ she makes. This is the reason I don't buy from them. I just get this sick feeling that I've been had if I do spend money there.

I hate their cash register. The lady always punch in the prices so fast, you cant even keep up and know and they're charging. They should get a price scanner.
And then the receipt has no description of the items so you cant even tell what you bought.

Thumbs up Tong's BIG sales. Very nice!!!

I read all these stuff about Tong's, how they marked up their prices up and then give discount on sales day. I went in on Friday to check out their prices, then went back in again on Sat. which is their first sales day. I didnt see anything really being marked up, especially I wrote down all the prices of the things I wanted to buy on Friday. Hehe, saved me over 100 bucks plus free water. I'll see how it is on their next sales, but this time was freakin' AWESOME!!!!

true, their prices were good all around.

though when I came after work on Saturday, their livestock looked a bit thin... I guess they had a busy morning.

whoever picked up the last rhomboid, there's been a recall... something like a boid-flu, and you will need to take it back to the store asap for immediate quarantine.

Their livestock prices were reasonable this time. Copperbands were $14 and Imperator Angels for $50 were not too bad. I guess this was a true sale.
